בר עשרין וחמש שנין יותם כד מלך ושתסרי שנין מלך בירושלם ושום אמיה ירושה ברת צדוק:
tsdwq brth yrwshh amyh wshwm byrwshlm mlk shnyn wshthsry mlk kd ywthm shnyn wkhmsh eshryn br
Jotham was twenty-five years old when he began to reign, and he reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem. His mother’s name was Jerushah the daughter of Zadok.

ועבד דכשר קדם יי הי ככל מה די עבד עזיהו אבוי לחוד לא על להיכלא דיי ועד כדון עמא מקלקלין:
mqlqlyn ema kdwn wed dyy lhykla el la lkhwd abwy ezyhw ebd dy mh kkl hy yy qdm dkshr webd
He did that which was right in Yahweh’s eyes, according to all that his father Uzziah had done. However he didn’t enter into Yahweh’s temple. The people still acted corruptly.

הוא בנא ית תרע בית מקדשא דיי עלאה ובשור פלטירין גואה בנא לסוגי:
lswgy bna gwah plTyryn wbshwr elah dyy mqdsha byth thre yth bna hwa
He built the upper gate of Yahweh’s house, and he built much on the wall of Ophel.

וקרוין בנא בטורא דבית יהודה ובתקוף כרכין בנא בירניתא ומגדליא:
wmgdlya byrnytha bna krkyn wbthqwp yhwdh dbyth bTwra bna wqrwyn
Moreover he built cities in the hill country of Judah, and in the forests he built fortresses and towers.

והוא אגיח קרבא עם מלכא דבני עמון ואתקף עלויהון ויהבו ליה בני עמון בשתא ההיא מאה קנטינרין דכסף ועשרא אלפין כורין דחנטין ושערין עשרא אלפין דא אתיבו ליה בני עמון ובשתא תניתא ותליתאה:
wthlythah thnytha wbshtha emwn bny lyh athybw da alpyn eshra wsheryn dkhnTyn kwryn alpyn weshra dksp qnTynryn mah hhya bshtha emwn bny lyh wyhbw elwyhwn wathqp emwn dbny mlka em qrba agykh whwa
He also fought with the king of the children of Ammon, and prevailed against them. The children of Ammon gave him the same year one hundred talents of silver, ten thousand cors of wheat, and ten thousand cors of barley. The children of Ammon also gave that much to him in the second year, and in the third.

ואתקף יותם ארום תקין יי מלכותיה מן בגלל דתקין אורחתיה קדם יי אלהיה:
alhyh yy qdm awrkhthyh dthqyn bgll mn mlkwthyh yy thqyn arwm ywthm wathqp
So Jotham became mighty, because he ordered his ways before Yahweh his God.

ושאר פתגמי יותם וכל סדרי קרביה ואורחתיה הא אנון כתיבין על ספר מלכיא דבית ישראל ויהודה:
wyhwdh yshral dbyth mlkya spr el kthybyn anwn ha wawrkhthyh qrbyh sdry wkl ywthm pthgmy wshar
Now the rest of the acts of Jotham, and all his wars and his ways, behold, they are written in the book of the kings of Israel and Judah.
